The Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the World Affairs Program. The Director is responsible for ensuring that all of the Program's operations are functioning optimally. The Director is normally the person who makes a final decision on any major Program action.

The Director is sometimes referred to as the Dictator or El Generalissimo.
